Kelantan Eng Choon Huey Kuan

Kelantan Eng Choon Huey Kuan was established in 1965. With the cooperative effort of the past Chairmen and strong support of the members, the association has successfully built its own four story building to house its office and activity halls and facilities.

 

Other than protecting and promoting the Engchoon culture, the association has also supported the development of other Chinese cultural activities. Other than that, the association is also actively participating in community and educational programs.

 

In upholding the spirit of Unity and Mutual Support, Strengthening Clan Relationship, and to cater for the consequential increase in activities, the Youth Section and Woman Wing were subsequently formed in 1984 and 1999 respectively.

 

Education being the foundation for success in life, the association has all along placed it in top priority. Hence every year, cash rewards are distributed to the children of Engchoon members for excelling in their studies. In addition to that, an Education Fund was also established to provide financial aids to needy scholars in pursuing their higher education programs.
